A Family Affair.
Babette & Christian Royère are natives from the South of France. Not only have they developed a love affair of 30+ years, but have been restauranteurs together for 30 years. Christian found his love of food at an early age, working in the kitchen with his first mentor: his mother. Upon completion of culinary school, he apprenticed under several well-known chefs in the South of France before moving to the United States in 1986, working in several Los Angeles restaurants such as Le Marmiton, The Chronicle, Bistro Garden and Ma Maison.
In 2012, Babette and Christian birthed A Food Affair, a truly unique french dining experience. From the interior and exterior décor, to your plate, the Royères welcome you to their southern style home. At A Food Affair, you come in as a guest, and leave as part of the family.
